Transactional Relationships

Today, I celebrate renewal, hope, and the triumph of light over darkness. I embrace the joy of Easter, knowing that love and grace abound in my life and in the world around me.

Happy Easter!

 I hope this Sunday has found you in good spirits. How was your Saturday? My day was peaceful and full of laughter. Laughter is sometimes the missing ingredient for your mental health. What did you do for self-care Sunday? Don’t tell me that you didn’t have time, and please don’t tell me that you didn’t do anything because yesterday was pretty enough for you to go outside and at least breathe some fresh air.

As we start this week, I’m focusing on ridding myself of all transactional relationships. If you don’t know what a transactional relationship is, GOOGLE IT. I don’t have time for people who only associate with others for gain, which makes the association transactional. 

I’m not an opportunistic person. I don’t try to associate myself with people to gain anything from them or to gain access to information or things. I’ve never been that kind of person, and I prefer not to even associate with people who are like that. Everything in life cannot be transactional. If that’s your viewpoint you’ll eventually end up with NOTHING.

I’m releasing all transactional relationships from my life, allowing space for genuine connections built on mutual respect and care. I attract meaningful connections that nourish my soul and support my growth. I trust in the abundance of authentic relationships that bring joy, fulfillment, and genuine connection into my life."

Stop Lying

 Happy Saturday!

How are you today? Go ahead and give yourself two claps for the weekend. You already know today is SELF-CARE Saturday, so you need to do something specifically for yourself. 

I usually leave deep conversations for the weekday, but last night I couldn’t stop thinking about how I’ve been lying to myself. 😒 YES, lying... I always say it’s important to be a good human, and in turn, I give humans the opportunity to showcase themselves rather than judging. 

Last night, I was thinking about how I give people face value credit when they deserve less. Anytime you’re giving someone more credit than they deserve, you’re lying to yourself. Once you understand the significance of being honest with yourself regarding individuals who do not contribute positively to your life, things become better for you. 

Acknowledging their presence and influence helps you establish healthy boundaries and prioritize relationships that uplift and support your growth. Being honest with your self helps to cultivate a nurturing environment filled with positivity and fulfillment.

Stop Self Sabotaging

Happy Wednesday!

Look at you, making it through hump day without even realizing how the days are just running together. How are you feeling? How has this week started out for you? I really hope that your Monday and Tuesday treated you well. I always say that I’m going to give this day my best, but I’m not going to give it my all. Meaning, I’m going to do what I’m supposed to do today, I’m going to try to meet all my goals and fulfill my duties, but I’m not going to let the day overtake me and drain me. 

I was about to start whining to myself about something, and then it’s like I heard a voice say, "Keep going and be quiet." Guess what I did? I kept on going and kept on with my plans, and I’m sitting here right now, and I’m A-OK. Sometimes we self-sabotage without even knowing that we are doing it. We really gotta work on that because I know I can’t be the only person who’s doing it.

When the path seems daunting and the challenges insurmountable, you have to keep going. You possess the strength and resilience to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Refuse to succumb to self-doubt or sabotage. Instead, embrace your inner power and push forward with unwavering determination. 

Believe in your abilities and trust in the journey ahead. Every step you take brings you closer to your goals and aspirations. Remember, you are worthy of success and fulfillment. So, keep going, keep striving, and never underestimate the incredible potential within you. You are capable of achieving greatness, and nothing can stand in your way when you choose to believe in yourself and stay true to your path.

I don’t have time

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you are well-rested and ready to tackle the day. How was your Monday? Did you get some things done? I hope your Monday started off on a good note. Did anyone participate in eclipse sightings or anything of that nature?

I labeled today Terrific Tuesday, don’t ask me why, but that's what I labeled it! I plan to put a lot of things in place because tomorrow is really big for me. I have a whole bunch of moving pieces for my Wednesday, so today I’m kind of putting my foot down and crossing all T’s and dotting all my I’s.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something and it’s been on your mind for a while, just do it. Stop pondering and wasting brain space on a situation that you could’ve completed or at least tried by now. Just do it and keep moving. We don’t have time to waste. 

I had a conversation with someone yesterday, and I noticed something about myself.I don’t have energy to settle or compromise.If I don’t like something or somebody I have no business entertaining them in any capacity. I know people will say, "Well, you should change," but no, I’m kind of done compromising. I require to be treated a certain way at all times.If I know someone is not meeting the requirements, I cut off all communication. I don’t have TIME to waste.

As you all know, Monday is my favorite day of the week. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know, but there's something about Monday that I just really, really love. I don’t know if I look forward to Mondays because they are the first business day of the week and I am a "let's get it done" type of person, or what, but I truly enjoy Mondays. 

How was your weekend? How was your Sunday? How did you reset yourself from last week to this week so that you could have a smooth transition as we're in March? What did you do? Easter is coming up; are you prepared? Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are some traditions that you have for you and your family?

I’m begging this day with lots of gratitude. There are not enough words and accolades to express how grateful I am. I’m so grateful for so many things that have taken place in my life and so many things that are brewing. I’m super appreciative!

 I was thinking about certain limitations we experience in life and the phrase “You have not because you’ve asked not” popped into my head. How can you look forward to something you’ve never spoken about or imagined? We are in control of how our life goes. You should work on your story daily.

I got a refill

Happy Sunday! 

Welcome to the beginning of your new week and the end of March. How did March treat you? Was March better than January and February? For me, March tried to coddle me in the beginning, but baby, it treated me like a stepchild. But guess what? I made it! I had so many great moments in March that despite some of the obstacles I faced, I remained unfazed. Of course, I worked out. I even stood out in the sun for about 15 minutes because I needed that. I pampered myself, laughed a lot, and gave myself a refill. I didn’t wait for anyone else to refill me; I refilled myself, so I’m ready for this week.


As this week starts, I’m so intentional and have so many great things in store for me that I’m literally smiling while putting this blog together. I’ve learned how valuable my days are and to control my reactions. My responses are far and few between on some things, and 70% of the time, I don’t even respond to anything. I can be very much present but have no response. I preserve my energy for things that are meaningful to me, and I just keep moving. That’s just the way I’m going forward from this point. A lot of you asked, so I’m gonna say I have a headache, but it’s not as intense. I’m kind of getting used to it, but it’s okay. Don’t worry about me; I'm alright. 


As I move through this week, I reaffirm my commitment to refilling my own cup. I recognize the importance of self-care and nourishing my mind, body, and spirit. I embrace moments of joy, laughter, and relaxation, knowing that by taking care of myself, I am better equipped to face any challenges that come my way. I am worthy of love, happiness, and inner peace, and I prioritize my well-being above all else. Today and every day, I choose to refill my own cup, ensuring that I am energized, balanced, and ready to embrace the beauty of life.

Do you know what today is? It’s SATURDAY‼️‼️ 

How did you sleep last night? I hope your Friday was extremely productive and full of positivity. What does your Saturday look like? Do you have any plans? You better not be saying no because you know that today is self-care Saturday. Get up and do something that exclusively pertains to you and your betterment. I don’t care if you just get up and walk around the block and breathe in the fresh air—that’s for you, so do it.

As we wrap up this week, I have to extend gratitude to myself. Baby, I made it! Today, I will make sure to pat myself on the back several times because some things that I endure, I wouldn't want anybody else to. My reality is too real for me sometimes, so I sure wouldn’t want anyone else to experience a glimpse of it.

You made it

Happy Friday! 

Look at you, making it to the weekend unscathed and alive. I bet when we got to Tuesday, you were second-guessing yourself, huh? But look at how you made it. Yay!!! What are your plans for this weekend? I know the weather is kind of gloomy and cold, so we’re gonna say it is just a tad bit confused. I thought we were in spring. 😒 

This weekend, I plan to take it really, really, really easy. I am on day 17 of a migraine, so I’m treading lightly. I have a lot of meetings to attend, and I need to be somewhat cognitive of the information that I’m giving to the other people. I hope that I’m able to do a tad bit of traveling, but who knows, maybe not; it just depends on how I feel. 

Last night, I reviewed my past journals, and I am kind of amazed at how I have always planned my life out by writing everything down and watching it come to fruition. Not everything that I’ve written has come to life, but a big chunk of it has. 

Being intentional is powerful. If humans recognized how powerful they were, the trajectory would change. I know this is the weekend, but I want you to stop and think about where you are right now. We’re 80-something days into 2024. If you’re not where you wanna be, change your mindset so that you can start going in the right direction.

Hump Day is officially here! How are you? Has this week been treating you well so far? I've been busy and a tad overwhelmed. I won't say that things haven't been working in my favor because every life tweak I've experienced this week has brought me something better.

I started focusing on the things I had control over, and I've begun to feel better about numerous things. The "No Stinking Thinking" script I've been preaching for years plays a significant role in how we show up for ourselves. I often hear people tell others to "Talk to Me Nice," but I'm here to remind you to talk to yourself nicely. Stop talking so much about yourself in any way.

Don’t get stuck in Limbo

Welcome to my favorite day of the week! I hope you're well-rested from your weekend. I've been carrying around the same stinking headache for 10 days. Outside of that, I'm well-rested and ready to go! What did you do this weekend that highlighted your experience?

As I get ready to start my day, I can't help but be thankful to be in my sane mind. So many people lack sanity, and it's not spoken of as it should be. Yesterday, I was thinking about the interactions I have with certain people. I can literally talk to a person and determine their main characteristics within 5 minutes. This is definitely a blessing and a curse.

This week I'd like for us to focus on REALITY. Many of us have a perception of how we'd like things to go, and sometimes we get stuck in limbo and don't move forward. I affirm my commitment to embracing my reality and refusing to be trapped in limbo. 

I acknowledge that life is ever-changing, and I choose to confront my circumstances with courage and resilience. Instead of dwelling on what could have been or what might be, I embrace the present moment fully. I accept both the triumphs and the challenges as essential components of my journey. By acknowledging and embracing my reality, I empower myself to take decisive action and shape my destiny. Embrace your level of success

Happy Saturday! 

Welcome to the weekend! What are your plans for today? I plan to move completely in silence. This morning, I thought about how I’ve been too accessible (too loud). My Friday was so full of information that I was literally left speechless. 

Self-Care Saturday is today, and I think I just want a pedicure. If you didn’t know, I’m an INTROVERT, and when I experience people in high doses, it sets me back days. 😳 I’d like to do something tomorrow, so I’m self-isolating today, lol. 

This morning, I was thinking about success. Success looks and feels different for all of us. Some people just want to make it to the next day, and some people want to make it to the top of their dreams. We have to allow people to have their moments of what they deem worthy of being successful. We are not all the same! 

Success manifests itself on multiple levels, each as crucial and fulfilling as the next. On a personal level, success is found in growth, resilience, and the pursuit of one's passions. It's about overcoming obstacles, learning from failures, and continuously evolving into the best version of oneself. Professionally, success is measured by achieving goals, making a meaningful impact, and finding fulfillment in one's career endeavors. It involves honing skills, embracing challenges, and seizing opportunities for advancement. 

On a broader scale, success encompasses contributing positively to society, leaving a lasting legacy, and making a difference in the lives of others. It's about using one's talents and resources to uplift and empower those around them, creating a ripple effect of positivity and inspiration. Shaking Back

Let’s give a huge round of applause to The Weekend. Come on through, T.G.I.F.!! How are you feeling today? I hope you’re ready for a weekend of relaxation and intentional rest. I picked up a Sinus Cold, but I’m definitely shaking back. 

What do you have planned for this weekend? Please don’t say nothing. It’s a proven fact that doing something positive and productive keeps your spirits high. Some of you have been slacking in Self-Care Saturday, but this is a perfect weekend to get back on track. 

Last night, I was thinking about how we experience discomfort when we’re entertaining situations we shouldn’t be in. We often become annoyed at the discomfort or chaos and miss the sign from the universe showing us we have no business in that situation. 

Life's uncomfortable situations serve as the crucible from which our greatest strengths emerge. Embracing discomfort allows us to transcend limitations and discover untapped reservoirs of resilience within ourselves. Each challenge, each moment of adversity, propels us forward on the journey of self-discovery and growth. In navigating these rough waters, we unearth hidden facets of our character, gaining wisdom and fortitude along the way. Making it to Friday Eve is such a blessing! Do you have any plans today? Be sure to wrap up your week so you don’t have to revisit things that are on your to-do list for the present. Procrastination is the worst thing ever.

Yesterday, I was thinking about how humans trauma dump on each other without permission. Yes, I said permission. Most people don’t inquire about another person’s emotional capacity and just share their woes. Let’s stop this! Hearing or carrying someone else’s woe often brings triggers that are extremely difficult to release. Start asking before sharing your shhhhh!

We can foster healthy and respectful relationships by practicing mindful communication. I recognize the importance of acknowledging others' emotional boundaries and seeking consent before sharing my own struggles. I create a supportive environment where open dialogue is encouraged and refrain from burdening others with my emotional challenges without their permission. By respecting boundaries and prioritizing empathy, I can contribute to building stronger connections and nurturing a culture of understanding and compassion.

Move Forward

Welcome to the second week of March. As we can see, time is definitely moving forward with or without you. I start my Sundays with a reset, and I'm extremely intentional about how I prepare myself for the rest of the week. What did you do for your self-care Saturday? I have a feeling some of you have been slacking and coming up with excuses not to invest in yourselves.

 I need you to remember that if you don't make yourself a priority, nobody else will. As we go into this week, remember that we're releasing things and people that don't work. It's important to set ourselves up for success by focusing on our strengths every day. I gave up debating with others about 8 months ago, and I promise I feel so much better. Silence and moving forward are definitely strengths I've mastered.

I embrace the power of moving forward without the need to rebut in life. Instead of engaging in unnecessary arguments or debates, I choose to channel my energy into positive actions and growth. I release the urge to defend my position at every turn, knowing that my peace of mind is more valuable than being right. With grace and confidence, I navigate life's challenges, trusting in my abilities and the wisdom gained from each experience.

 I am empowered by my ability to let go of the need to prove myself, and I embrace the freedom that comes from focusing on my journey forward.

I know we sometimes carry issues from week to week, but I'm going to suggest that you stop adding to your load for no reason. Release things immediately when they no longer serve you. I know you might think I'm crazy for this suggestion, but I want you to try it for 21 days. 😁

 Release all that no longer serves your highest good. Let go of negative thoughts, toxic relationships, and limiting beliefs. With each release, create space for positivity, growth, and abundance to flow into your life. Trust in the universe's plan for your journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Big Energy

Look at you, making it back to the weekend in one piece! How did this first full week treat you? If I were rating this week 1-10, I'd give it a 6 1/2. What are your plans for the weekend? You have 48 hours, so I suggest you utilize it to the best of your ability.

My Friday has 7 strong agenda points, and then I can plan to relax. Yesterday I was thinking about how important GOOD ENERGY was. You don’t even have to be in person to feel energy; it's extremely transferable. As I've worked to change the trajectory of my life, I purposely stay away from energy drainers and negative energy.

I affirm my commitment to protecting my energy as a sacred and vital resource. I recognize that my well-being and inner peace depend on maintaining healthy boundaries and prioritizing self-care. With mindfulness and intention, I shield myself from negativity and drain, allowing only positivity and nourishment to enter my space. 

I honor my limits and assertively communicate my needs, knowing that it is not selfish, but essential, to safeguard my energy. By surrounding myself with supportive and uplifting influences, I create a sanctuary of positivity and empowerment. I embrace the power within me to preserve and replenish my energy, fostering a life of balance, harmony, and vitality.

I’m HUMAN’D OUT

Happy Thursday! 

How are you doing? How has your mental health been? I've been in an extremely decent state of mind, and I think that comes from adequate rest. I've also noticed that I have had nothing much to say these past few days. It's kind of like I'm all talked out .😁

 Do you have any plans for today? The majority of my plans were redirected, so I took that as a sign for more rest. Yesterday I was thinking about how entitled some people are when it comes to their association with you and others around them. Humans can be so entitled and selfish that sometimes you have to detach yourself from them in order to have peace. Human behavior is either taught or acquired through self absorption. The way people treat you has NOTHING to do with you; it's a direct self-reflection of how they view themselves.

Human behavior and entitlement are intricately intertwined aspects of human psychology and societal dynamics. By acknowledging that entitlement is not a reflection of our worth, but rather a projection of the individual's internal struggles and insecurities, we can cultivate a sense of inner peace and detachment. 

Choosing to prioritize our mental well-being by setting boundaries and detaching from toxic interactions is not only an act of self-care but also a necessary step towards fostering healthier, more fulfilling connections with others.

Welcome to the Hump Day Chronicles. How are you feeling today? Has March been good to you these last few days? I feel like I’m finally warming up to 2024. What’s on your agenda for today?

Lately, I’ve been attuned to my surroundings and the energy that I attract. I’m still focusing on self-preservation and accountability. It’s important for us to remember that just because a certain amount of time has passed and space was given, holding people accountable for how they’ve treated you in the past is important.

Time doesn’t heal all wounds. Time just shows us how to deal with less than favorable situations. Even as time passes, some wounds persist, their scars etched into the fabric of our being. Yet, within these enduring marks lies a testament to our strength and resilience, a reminder that healing is not solely measured by the passage of time, but by the depth of our courage to confront and accept our pain.

Through acceptance and self-compassion, we find the power to transform our wounds into wisdom, allowing them to shape us without defining us.

How was your Monday?

 I hope you made the most of your daily 24 hours. It’s extremely important to live in your truth and revamp areas of your life that aren’t flourishing. Do you have any outlandish plans for today? I’m working on getting myself on track. I’ve been living 48 hours in advance for a week now ☹️.

A few days ago, I realized my dates were off, and I had to completely change my schedule for 10 days. This was easy for me to do because I’m in full control of my plans, and I thrive on the outcomes of completion. What do you do when your life is off track?

You are capable of getting back on track with focus and determination. Acknowledge that setbacks are a natural part of any journey, but don’t let them define you. Commit to taking proactive steps towards your goals each day, prioritizing self-care, and maintaining a positive mindset. Trust in your abilities to overcome challenges and stay aligned with your purpose. With perseverance and resilience, you will navigate any obstacles and emerge stronger than before. 

Today, realign your actions with your aspirations, knowing that each step forward brings you closer to the life you envision for yourself.

Today, I plan to stay in alignment with my planner. For some strange reason, I’m a date off on everything. I think this started last week when I didn’t know it was Wednesday and kept thinking it was Tuesday 🫣. Do you see why I rested?

Welcome to the first full week of March. How was your self-care Saturday? I hope you actually utilized your time just for yourself. Even if you don’t feel like you need any time for yourself, it’s important to recharge and rejuvenate all aspects pertaining to you. I said I was going to rest, and I did exactly that. I rested, and I feel good. 

This week will have lots of moving pieces, so I know that my energy has to be a tad bit overt, and I have to be a little bit flexible. I'm expecting some fantastic things to take place for me this week, and I’m a tad bit excited. I want you to start thinking about what you want your week to look like. What are your expectations throughout the week? 

Each day, I affirm my power to set the tone for my life. I embrace the opportunity to shape my experiences, attitudes, and actions with intention and purpose. I choose to start each morning with gratitude, welcoming positivity and abundance into my day. With clarity of vision and unwavering determination, I align my thoughts and intentions with my deepest desires and aspirations. 

I release any negativity or self-doubt that may arise, knowing that I am capable of overcoming any challenges that come my way. I trust in my ability to navigate life's twists and turns with grace and resilience. By consciously setting the tone for my life, I create a path of fulfillment, joy, and limitless possibilities.

How are you feeling this morning? What are your plans for today? I hope you have something planned for your self-care Saturday. You show up for everyone every day, so today is yours. I plan to relax and revise my March calendar today. I won't be doing anything strenuous. It's important to pay attention to your mind and body to avoid being at capacity with life. 

This weekend, I affirm my commitment to self-care and nurturing my well-being. I acknowledge that taking care of myself is not selfish, but essential for my overall happiness and fulfillment. I grant myself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and embrace moments of peace and tranquility. 

I will engage in activities that nourish my body, mind, and soul, whether it's through restorative yoga, indulging in my favorite book, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll in nature. I release any guilt or pressure to constantly be productive and instead prioritize my inner balance and harmony. I recognize that by replenishing my own cup, I am better equipped to show up fully for myself and others in the days ahead. 

This weekend, I choose self-love, self-compassion, and self-care as my guiding principles, knowing that by honoring my own needs, I am nurturing the foundation for a life of joy, vitality, and fulfillment.

Can I get a round of applause for Friday, you guys? We made it to Friday, and not only that, but we are officially on March 1, 2024. It sounds crazy saying that we are literally three months into 2024. Okay, let's pause for a second. How has your 2024 been for you thus far? How do you feel about 2024? Has it been all that and a bag of chips? Has it been a stressful year? I really want to know.
 Today, I have a lot of things that I desire to do, and guess what? I'm going to do them. I have the no-stinking-thing cape on, so I'm rolling with it. I'm getting things done, no excuses! I've come to the conclusion that in life, you have to be what you desire. If you want people to be good to you, you've got to be a good person so that energy can be reciprocated. You have to be the change that you want within people, not just for them but for your own sanity.

Embrace the power within to cultivate kindness, compassion, and positivity. Each day, we have to strive to radiate love and understanding, knowing that our actions have the potential to inspire others. Become a beacon of light in the world, leading by example and spreading joy wherever you go.
