We’re not pretending

Happy FRIDAY ‼️

Can y’all hear that? That’s the weekend making its last stop on the trail to pick me up. Before I get in, I need to be guaranteed a GOOD time. How was your Thursday? Please tell me that you were able to complete at least 80% of your weekly goals. If not, add the remainder onto Monday and just start fresh. We’re just at June 6th and I’m DEPLETED!!!!! If you need to be coddled, I’m not your person. 72 hours with the ocean is on my immediate priority list.

As we waltz into Friday, what’s your plan for today? I plan to execute many tasks with very little conversation. If I didn’t have so many obligations for the next few weeks, I’d do in ghost mode and pop back out in 2026. Somebody play “Emotions by H-Town”.

As the week closes, let this moment be a reminder that you’ve made it through every high and low, every silent pause, and every heavy breath. The weekend stands before you not just as time off—but as an invitation to reset, recharge, and reconnect with your inner peace. Whatever this week threw your way, release it. You are here, still standing, still breathing, still pushing forward. That alone is worth celebrating.

Sometimes the weight we carry isn’t loud. It shows up as quiet detachment, lingering fatigue, or an emptiness we can’t quite explain—what many call situational depression. It’s real, it’s valid, and it doesn’t make you weak. Life’s shifts—job stress, relationship changes, financial strain—can dim even the brightest spirit. But the light isn’t gone. It’s resting. And this weekend, so should you. Give yourself permission to feel, without judgment. Sit with your truth, acknowledge the heaviness, and know that naming it is a powerful act of self-care.

This weekend, choose softness. Not laziness—softness. Pour into your own cup before trying to fill anyone else’s. Whether it’s taking a walk, catching up on sleep, journaling, or simply saying “no” without guilt, honor what your mind and body are asking for. Self-care isn’t about bubble baths and candles—it’s about boundaries, honesty, and healing. So as you step into this Friday and beyond, remember: you are allowed to pause. You are allowed to care for you. And you are allowed to begin again, as many times as needed.

How bad do you want it?

Happy Sunday!!! We’ve officially made it to the fifth month and third day of 2026! Geesh, this year is truly flying by. How are you? How...
