Happy Friday!!!!
Can we get right to business? The retrograde ended on the 11th, but the shadow? Whew… it whooped my entire ass. When I tell you I felt like I had NOTHING left in me and my tolerance was sitting pretty at a strong -50, I mean it. My support human decided to be mean to me and I almost lost my whole composure. Baby, LISTEEEEENNN!!! Now that I’ve got that out of the way—how are you? How was your week? We are smack in the middle of August, and I’ve got to ask—are you still on target for your goals and dreams? I break my year into sections, and if I’m being honest, I’m working in November right now. That little trick keeps me ahead of reality and forces me to hold myself accountable at all times.
As we waltz into our favorite day of the week, Friday, I want you to pause and think of three moments from this week that genuinely made you happy. I mean the kind of moments that warm you up inside when you replay them in your mind. Tell me, because you already know I like to hear all the stories. The "Black ~Kardasheans" started school this week, and hearing them spill their little adventures filled my heart to the brim. For me, it’s always the smallest gestures—the laughs, the unexpected kindness, the shared inside jokes—that leave the deepest marks. Just yesterday, I was scrolling through my camera roll, and let me tell you, I have a picture for every event I’ve been to. And yes… if I’m ever somewhere with you and we don’t take a picture? I don’t like you. 😊
Life is truly a collection of moments, and the ones that stick the longest are often wrapped in joy and laughter. Those are the treasures you tuck away in your heart and pull out on the days when you need a reminder of how good life can be. Make everything you do a big deal—whether it’s a dinner with friends, a solo adventure, or just a walk on a sunny day. Celebrate it. Name it. Document it. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s yours. When you cherish the little things, you start to see how abundant your life really is, even in seasons when it feels like you’re running on empty.
And don’t be afraid to step outside your box while you’re at it. Some of the most unforgettable memories happen when you say “yes” to something you never saw yourself doing. Those moments stretch you, surprise you, and show you sides of yourself you didn’t even know existed. Capture the laughter, embrace the spontaneity, and welcome the magic of the unknown. Whether it’s a bold leap or a small, curious step, make it count. After all, this is your life—your masterpiece—and every day is a chance to add a brushstroke worth remembering.
