Take a second and acknowledge how you got here and contemplate on what you hope to accomplish while you are here. Since we are all along for the ride, let's get the formalities out of the way. How was your Self-Care Saturday? The weather was good enough for you to go out and get some fresh air and run a few errands if necessary. My day was very BLAH... I shared a few laughs with my EMOTIONAL SUPPORT HUMAN and after that I was tapped out. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Embracing your new reality means stepping fully into the space you’ve worked so hard to create, without apologizing for the blessings, peace, or boundaries you now live by. It’s understanding that life doesn’t stop for the past, and neither should you. The old version of you may have survived storms, but the new you thrives in clarity. Every choice, every move, and every conversation should reflect where you’re going, not where you’ve been. When you accept your new reality, you stop negotiating with people who only knew the old you, and you start showing up as the version of yourself that was born from resilience, lessons, and unshakable self-worth.
But while you’re embracing this new chapter, make sure you’re still the main thing—even when the world is full of distractions trying to convince you otherwise. Noise will always be present: other people’s opinions, outside demands, endless “urgent” situations. Yet your energy, your vision, and your peace should remain the headline in your own life. Being the main thing means protecting your time, feeding your soul, and prioritizing what fuels you over what drains you. You are not background music to someone else’s story—you are the melody of your own. Stay centered, stay intentional, and watch how your reality continues to unfold in alignment with everything you truly deserve.
